What started as a small dream has grown into a space where people come to slow down, celebrate, wander, and reconnect. Every row we plant and every bouquet we cut is rooted in joy, intention, and the hope that our farm brings a little bit of beauty into your day.

Cut Flowers

Our cut flower fields are the colorful soul of Sandy Acres—more than 50 raised beds overflowing with blooms from spring through fall. Each bed is planted, tended, and harvested by hand so our flowers are as fresh and vibrant as possible. Whether you order a bouquet or join us for a u-pick day, our flowers are grown to brighten homes, moments, and memories.

Lavender

Our lavender fields are where peace grows. We don’t make lavender products here at the farm—we focus on growing and harvesting high-quality lavender for other lavender farms and small businesses who turn it into essential oils and specialty goods. It’s a labor of love, and one we take pride in, knowing that our lavender becomes part of products enjoyed far beyond our rows. When you visit, you’re welcome to stroll through the fields, breathe deep, and enjoy the scenery that makes this part of the farm so special.

Events & The Pavilion

Just steps from our flower and lavender rows sits our open-air pavilion—a bright, airy gathering space made for heartfelt moments. With rustic charm, big Nebraska sky views, and the gentle backdrop of the farm, it’s perfect for intimate weddings, celebrations, workshops, or simply bringing people together. Whether you’re saying “I do,” hosting an event, or enjoying a quiet evening on the farm, we’re grateful to share this place with you.

Our Story

I’m Jess—the flower farmer behind Sandy Acres Farm. Long before there were rows of blooms and lavender swaying in the Nebraska breeze, there was a girl who loved flowers, color, and creating beautiful moments. I spent years working in floral shops, wedding and event venues, and marketing, never realizing that all those passions were quietly leading me toward one dream: creating a flower farm of my own.

Sandy Acres grew from that dream… and from a whole lot of teamwork. My husband, Ryan—the builder of dreams—took my sketches and ideas and turned them into raised beds, a greenhouse, fences, and eventually our open-air pavilion. While I’m tending flowers, he’s building what comes next. It’s truly a labor of love, built with our hands and our hearts.

Our farm is also a lively home to our beloved four-legged crew: dogs who enjoy the field with me, goats with big personalities, barn cats who supervise everything, and a couple of cows who keep the farm grounded. They’re part of the magic here too.

Sandy Acres Farm is more than a place—it’s a life we’re building, one bloom, one project, and one joyful moment at a time. And we’re so grateful to share it with you.
